About SWFHC
Southwest Fair Housing Council (SWFHC) was established to stop housing discrimination and to help those who have experienced it, stand up for their rights. The Fair Housing Act was established in 1968 to prevent unfair housing deals based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, or whether you have kids or not.
And depending on where you live in Arizona, you might also be protected if you're discriminated against because of your sexual orientation, gender identity, ancestry, age, or marital status.
SWFHC is here to make sure everyone has a fair shot at finding a place to call home. If you feel you have been a victim of housing discrimination please visit our FAQ page.
